Avaya Communications Server (CS) 1000 System Administration and Management Troubleshooting

Geoff Myers

Category: Avaya

Length: 40 hours

Prerequisite: None

Participants in this course will expand their basic administration and management skills on the CS 1000 series PBXs through hands-on and interactive practices with a live system. Students will work directly with systems for real-life practices in security and provisioning. They will learn the required skills to add analog, digital, and IP telephones, and the testing required to ensure proper operation. In addition, they will use common station moves, adds, and changes (MACs), and administration. Participants will also practice system installation and integration of the CallPilot voice mail system on the CS1000 series PBX. This course is meant to supplement the Alliance Avaya CS 1000 System Administration and Management Phase 3 training course with live system training, and is highly recommended for both field technicians and help-desk staff who are tasked to provide front-line support for the CS 1000 system.
