Participants in this course will refresh their basic administration and management skills on the CS 1000 series PBXs through guided practices. They will work directly with systems for real-life practices in security and provisioning. They will learn the required skills for adding analog, digital, and IP telephones, to ensure proper operation. In addition to common station moves, adds, and changes (MACs), they will discuss system administration, common tasks, and digital trunking. Participants will also receive a brief introduction on system installation and integration of the CallPilot voice mail system. This course is meant to supplement the Alliance Avaya CS 1000 System Administration and Management Phase 3 training course and is designed to get students prepared for the Phase 5 Hybrid Troubleshooting course.
