Work Smarter, Not Harder. Studies have indicated that resistance is an inevitable response to any major change. They also suggest that individuals instinctively defend the status quo when they feel their position or security is threatened. Often, organizational change is met with skepticism and resistance by the employees. This course will help participants break through those emotional barriers, to better manage the transition of personal and workplace changes. They will create “win-win” solutions to personal and workplace conflicts, understand how to deal with difficult people in an appropriate and effective manner, employ positive coping mechanisms in stressful situations, and find out how a sense of humor can defuse a tense situation and ease stress.
