This class brings a new perspective to exercise, fitness, and nutrition by shifting the focus from intensive rigorous exercise to a broader range of health-enhancing activities. It will provide participants with the knowledge and techniques necessary to incorporate fitness into their lifestyles. This class covers current evidence-based diet and nutritional recommendations. The role of nutritional foods, supplements, and physical activity in preventing modern-day health issues, such as diabetes, osteoporosis, and heart disease, is discussed as well.
