This course provides an overview of various PBX, VoIP, and SIP-based phone systems, their components and configurations, and misconfigurations that could result in the loss of money and service. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the feature sets hackers utilize to gain access to phone systems, as well as the forensic techniques needed to thwart their attacks. Security best-practice recommendations and implementation policy development to safeguard a telephone system environment will also be covered.
